Day care is a great solution if you don't want your dog to spend the day alone - Perfect for if you're at work, visiting relatives, a day out, attending a wedding or even Christmas shopping.
Their day will be filled with fun activities, at least 2 walks, play time in the garden, plenty of love, cuddles and snoozes. They'll get to spend time with other dogs and make new friends too.
To ensure your dog is happy to stay with us, we will invite them for a trial session, which will help to put your mind at ease.
Day care spaces are very limited, so we advise that you book in as soon as possible.
To Be Able To Attend Day Care
Your Dog Must Be...
☑ Under 12kg
☑ Over 3 Years Old (we may make exceptions for younger dogs)
☑ Neutered
☑ Up-To-Date with Vaccinations, including Kennel Cough
☑ Up-To-Date with a Vet Prescribed Parasite Treatment
☑ Calm & Comfortable Around Other Dogs
Day Care Rates
Price Per Day / Per Dog:
Day Care operates from 8am - 6pm.
Weekdays - £25
Weekends - £30
Additional Information
2 half-day assessment sessions and registration forms must be completed before any booking can be considered.
Half Day Assessment £15
Bank holidays will incur a 50% surcharge.
Day Care is not available over the Christmas & New Year period.
Day care operates from 8am-6pm. Drop off and pick up is by appointment only.
Weekend Day Care is only available on an infrequent basis for customers who regularly use our Day Care or Home Boarding service.
For the safety & security of our dog guests and keeping inline with the stipulations of our licensing agreement and business insurance, clients are not invited into our home - Handover will take place on the driveway.
Day Care is only available to dogs who are over 3 years of age (no longer in the playful puppy stage) due to our own dog being senior and less tolerable of bouncy puppies. Your dog must be calm, comfortable, well socialised around other dogs and settle well into a home environment. Dogs that bark excessively, scent mark indoors or are unable to be separated are not suitable for Day Care.
We may make exceptions for dog's under 3 years old if they are toilet trained and are of a calm disposition.
We have been issued a 5 Star Animal Activity Licence for Home Boarding & Day Care through Wigan Council which stipulates a maximum of 3 dogs (including our own dog) can be boarded at any one time.
